Growing Up Great

At Bridgewater Park Primary School, we are passionate about helping our pupils grow into kind, confident, and resilient individuals and this is at the heart of our Growing Up Great! approach. While our core school values are Kindness, Integrity, and Tenacity (KIT), we also actively teach and promote respect, resilience, and collaboration, as we believe these values underpin and strengthen our ethos as a whole school.

Our values shape our learning environment, guide behaviour, and help pupils develop into well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens. They provide a shared framework for decision-making, foster a strong sense of community, and support a positive school identity. We understand that character development doesn’t just happen, it must be taught deliberately. That’s why we embed our values across the curriculum. Through this, we ensure that every child not only knows our values but lives them, preparing them not just for school, but for life.
