Year 3/4

Welcome to our Year 3/4 Class Page for Summer Term 2!

Class Teacher: Miss N Clark
PPA Teacher: Ms C Hopkinson

Our final half term of the academic year!

As we begin Summer Term 2, I would like to take a moment to say how incredibly proud I am of every child in Year 3/4. It has been a fantastic year, and the children have worked exceptionally hard throughout. They have shown resilience, determination and enthusiasm across all areas of the curriculum, and it has been wonderful to watch them grow in confidence, independence and maturity over the course of the year.

One of the highlights of the last term has been the tremendous improvement in the children's handwriting. Their dedication and hard work have resulted in significant progress, and they should all be very proud of what they have achieved. As handwriting remains an important focus, we will continue to work on developing neat, fluent and consistent presentation throughout this half term. To support this further, handwriting-focused homework will continue to be set each week, alongside opportunities for children to apply these skills across the curriculum.

As we approach the end of the year, we will continue to encourage the children to take pride in their work, challenge themselves in their learning and prepare confidently for the next stage of their education. Our classroom remains a happy, safe and supportive environment where every child is valued, encouraged and celebrated for their achievements.

A special thank you must also go to Ms Hopkinson for her continued support throughout the year. She has built wonderful relationships with the children and continues to play an important role in supporting both their learning and wellbeing. We are very fortunate to have her as part of our Year 3/4 team.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. Working together has helped the children achieve so much, and I am looking forward to making the most of our final weeks together and celebrating all that they have accomplished.
