Computing

E-Safety is something that is taken very seriously at Bridgewater Park. We ensure all of our children use the internet safely within school and encourage them to do the same at home. To view a copy our our E-safety policy please visit the 'policies' page, under the tab 'Information for parents'.

It is important to make sure internet sites and apps your children are using are age appropriate. They should be supervised whilst using the internet and need to be aware at how to be e-safe. For example

  • Using age appropriate sites.
  • Never sharing their own usernames and passwords or the usernames of other people in school.
  • Not giving out personal details, such as school name, addresses or names of their friends.

Below are links to websites that provide both children and parents with more information about E-safety.

Safer Internet

At Bridgewater Park we have created a computing curriculum using the National Curriculum which aims to ensure all pupils are equipped to use information technology safely, and become digitally literate. Our aim is to enable pupils to use, and express themselves and develop their ideas through, information and communication technology.
