Mrs Platt and Mrs Baldock are really excited to be teaching Year 4 and have a fantastic year full of interesting topics planned! This began with our first topic, 'The Groovy Greeks', which focused on greek artefacts, the daily life  and comparing Greece now and then.

We then looked at 'The Angry Earth' and how Volcanoes and Earthquakes are formed and what impact they have. We are looked at how they happen and recreated our own volcano.

Now we are looking at 'The Stone Age' we will be investigating using different sources what facts we can gather about them. We will be looking in-depth at Skara Brae and using maps and atlases to locate hill forts. For our Art project we will be recreating our own cave paintings.
